Remembrance Walk

The Empty Arms Annual Remembrance Walk through Mount Hope Cemetery is our largest fundraising event of the year. Gathering at the butterfly garden to start, local families come together in solidarity and love for their children and raise funds to continue to support our mission.

Butterfly Garden

The Memorial Butterfly Garden, located at Mount Hope Cemetery in Bangor, Maine, is a tranquil place where families are welcome to visit at any time. Each year we spend time beautifying our garden and remembering our babies that have left our families far too soon.

Castings

At the time of a loss, it is so important to capture as many details as you can to remember your baby. With permission, we are able to join families in their hospital rooms and provide castings of the hands and feet of their baby.

Other Events

Every year we try to offer a variety of events to have a little bit of fun with the families involved with our organization. In the past we have attended events, painted, planted flowers, enjoyed dinner, decorated Christmas ornaments, and lit candles in remembrance.
